Expected impact

Expected impact

The expected long-term impact is the improved students’ employability by creating a modern work-based education and training path for engineering technicians based on the needs of the labour market, consequently fostering economic development and reducing the skills mismatch. The project will increase the employability of young people by furthering the vocational segment of the qualification, which will be based on the research of the industry requirements for skills and competencies in participating countries.

The development of transnational qualifications contributes to the recognition and transparency of qualifications along with the already existing national and EU qualification development tools. The long-term objective is to create a sustainable resource for the development of joint qualifications as an innovative approach to meeting the needs of the contemporary European Common market, by delivering such innovations to the policy-makers.
